I’d like to explore the recent changes inthe workplace in four parts. Mostly importantly, the ways people seekemployment have been totally distinct from the old days. When my parents wereyoung and looking for jobs, they usually needed to find an agent to introduce all the available jobs. But today, most of us use applications installed in our   mobile phones to find jobs. This way is not only more efficient but also more transparent.

Moreover, the relationships in theworkplace have changed, too. In the past, the leader of a team was quite bossy,while nowadays the boss and his members are more like partners who cooperate with each other.

Another thing is how people’s performanceis measured. Now, people’s work is not simply judged by the boss; rather, there are very sophisticated ways with the help of the computer to decide how they perform. For example, how much value they have created for the business is calculated online.

At last, the skills needed to succeed usedto be very narrow: you just need to be good at one skill to be a good worker.However, in today’s workplace, you may need to learn new skills constantly in order to have a successful and stable position. These have been the majorchanges on work.
